This modern, stylish apartment sits on the esplanade of the North Devon seaside village of Woolacombe, and has sea views throughout much of the spacious, well-equipped getaway. Spend days at the sandy beaches and coves: the main, award-winning sandy beach (500 metres away) is known for water sports including surfing. Hire equipment at surf shops in the village centre (500 metres) where you’ll also find galleries, cafes serving Devon cream tea, seafood restaurants and more. Woolacombe is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you’ll have plenty of outdoor pursuits to enjoy in the surrounding countryside such as cycling and dog walking on the paths. Try the unique, scenic walking trail to Morte Point (1.5 miles), a Site of Special Scientific Interest that’s perhaps best suited to adults as it is steep in parts with sheer drops.

Climb stairs up to this modern apartment, entering the double height hallway that’s a handy place to leave sandy shoes and bags. The apartment’s layout is reverse-level to make the most of the views, so you’ll find the king-size bedroom on the ground floor. With sea views and a TV, you’ll have plenty to watch during private, peaceful moments. It also boasts an en-suite bathroom with a shower over a bath. An open, wooden staircase leads to the house’s best chill-out spot: the stylish, open-plan living area. Relax on the sofas and put your feet up on the foot stool, switching on the 65-inch TV with Netflix access. Cook in the large, well-equipped kitchen and dine at the four-seater table. There’s also a magimix Nespresso coffee machine: carry your brew to the balcony, accessed via the living room. The second king-size bedroom is by the kitchen and also boasts an en-suite with a shower over a bath and lovely sea views.

The small, decked balcony with table and chairs is the perfect spot to watch sunsets or the sea waves break each morning.

Great location for beach and amenities. Loved the small balcony and bifolds. Very spacious bedrooms and well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

An excellent stay. The property is very comfortable, well equipment and in a perfect location. A few points of note for your forward consideration: 1. The key safe contained two sets of flat keys but only one for the building making it inconvenient at times when our family were out separately at the same time. A second set of main building door keRead moreys would be preferable 2. When we arrived the main lobby having come into the building has a strong, distinct smell of cannabis which lasted the first couple of days of our stay. We appreciate that there is a limited amount you can do to stop other property owners using it in their own homes but you might ask your building manager to investigate, particularly if the two properties off of the main entrance are also holiday rentals? Definitely not a complaint on our part however future guests may make a bigger issue of it Hide
