This extensive property has plenty of space, making it the perfect celebration cottage for an extended family getaway. Located near the quintessentially British seaside town of Southwold, on the stunning Suffolk coastline; famous for its iconic beach huts, towering lighthouse and Adnams Brewery. With dog-friendly pubs, footpaths to neighbouring villages, beaches, fish and chip shops, three convenience stores, a harbour, crazy golf, and a wealth of eateries as well as a brewery and a distillery, guests will have plenty to enjoy when visiting. You can also take the coastal path or the foot ferry (summer only) to the idyllic seaside village of Walberswick too.
The accommodation is set out over three floors and has a fabulous, open-plan kitchen/diner with glass roof allowing the space to be flooded with light. The kitchen area has a large central island and plenty of worktop space and is such a delight to cook in. Through the archway and you’ll find yourself in the spacious dining area. As well as this there is a lovely, large sitting room with open fireplace and comfortable seating and there is also a separate drawing room too. As an added bonus, there’s also a great games room with Smart TV, games console, a full-size table football game and a 5’ pool table - ideal for those wanting to relax after a long day at the beach. A pleasant twin bedroom completes the ground-floor accommodation with a separate shower room located off the utility area. On the first floor, there are three generous and beautifully styled bedrooms, two of which offer super-king-size beds and one with king-size bed. All three bedrooms on this floor boast en-suite bath or shower room facilities, meaning guests are truly spoilt with a fantastic bathroom-to-bedroom ratio. On the top floor there is a fifth, fabulous king-size bedroom as well as a bathroom with both a bath and separate walk-in shower.
Outside, there is a private walled garden to the rear which is ideal for enjoying the last of the evening sun whilst at the front, there is a smaller garden with lovely views across Southwold Common.
