This light-filled, luxury ground-floor apartment is perfectly situated in the seaside town of Swanage, just 300 metres from the vibrant high street of shops, restaurants and cafes. The large sandy beach and Victorian pier are also just a 500-metre walk away, making it an ideal property for couples or a family to enjoy a relaxing beach stay. Durlston Castle and country park, ideal for picnics and coastal views across the Channel is less than a mile walk away, and the ruins and pretty village of Corfe Castle are just a 6-mile drive or steam train ride away.

The apartment is bright and airy with stylish modern interiors throughout. A large L-shaped kitchen, lounge and dining area greet you with plenty of space to relax on the plush sofas. The shaker-style kitchen with an island is the perfect spot to prepare an evening meal or weekend breakfast, with the choice to eat at the dining table indoors or open up the French doors to the patio dining area. A hallway from the kitchen leads to the two bedrooms. The master has an en-suite with a walk-in shower and a further set of double doors leading to the patio area. The second bedroom is beautifully furnished, also with double doors for outdoor access, and is next to the contemporary family bathroom complete with a large free-standing bath, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day.

Outside is a large landscaped patio area with an outdoor table and chairs along with a parking space for one large or two small cars.

We had a lovely stay at sunny place, the apartment is well equipped with lovely outside space. We had scones, jam and clotted cream left for us with milk in the fridge when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. We come to Swanage every year and would definitely stay here again

Sunny place is a lovely ground floor, well equipped modern apartment. Really nice place but please please please sort out the beds. They are so squeaky. Particularly the one without the en-suite. Such a shame it just takes the edge off having a 100% positive experience. Please get new bed bases - could even be a new divan base - mattress is fine. Lovely flat. spacious and in excellent condition.unfortunately the beds and mattresses were very cheap and uncomfortable. otherwise the scores would have been much higher.

The main reason for a lower score on comfort was due to the bed. The mattress was uncomfortable and thin and the bed frame is made of steel with steel cross members which made noises every time I moved in the bed. This reason alone would stop me from booking this accommodation again.

Excellent quality property, lovely furnishings and very well equipped. Loved the decor in the sitting room and the local prints in the bedrooms. Great sunny patio courtyard, very safe for the dog as completely fenced in. Given a lower score for comfort because of the beds. The mattress in the en suite was far too thin for a luxury apartment - couldRead more feel the bed frame underneath and has left me with a bad back. the other bed frame squeaked every time my daughter rolled over. This is the only reason we wouldn't book here again as loved it otherwise. I think the blub should emphasise that the apartment is up a steep hill - for anyone unfamiliar with Swanage geography. Minor point - it would have been useful to know there is a cafetiere to save taking ours. Hide

The kitchen was beautifully presented - lots of crockery but cutlery very poor. 4 teaspoons! Lovely shower and bath but no soap dishes or anywhere in the shower to place shampoos etc. no hooks on bathroom door. The bed was quite the worst I have every slept in. Location and cleanliness were excellent. What lets this flat down are the beds which are incredibly uncomfortable, short, unstable and noisy; cold and unventilated bathrooms; unpredictable hot water and a tap in the en-suite which comes off in your hands. All of these have been reported in the visitor book for the last two years! The mattresses and pillows need replacing, no mattress protectors on the bed or pillows. Cleanliness could be better, the crockery on the shelves were dusty. The lights over the breakfast bar were dusty and had no bulbs in them, shower blocked which our friend sorted and the front door key wouldn't always work, last thing much too small a TV for thRead moree size of the room. It was a gorgeous apartment and we really enjoyed our stay, it's just these things need to be sorted for a perfect stay. Don't mind you using the review, as for the things we picked up on, we hope you you can sort out with the cottage owners, as we don't want to put people off from going to this lovely cottage Hide
