Relax in this traditional stone-built, family-friendly farmhouse which sleeps 12, set in beautiful, rural surroundings south of Aberystwyth. From your doorstep, take an inspiring stroll along the coastal path. The university town of Aberystwyth is just 4 miles away, with its plethora of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars and mile-long Victorian promenade; you can take a trip on a restored steam train through almost 12 miles of open fields, woodland and rugged mountain scenery. Learn about the history, myth and legends of silver-lead mining at Llywernog, or for the more energetic, discover magnificent world famous waterfalls at Devil’s Bridge, both less than 15 miles. Bwlch Nant yr Avian Forest and the Cors Caron National Nature Reserve are within 20 miles.

On the ground floor you’ll find the roomy, welcoming, open-plan lounge/diner, with plenty of comfortable sofa space for all the family. Gather round the warming wood burner set in a beautiful stone fireplace to unwind in front of the TV, or make use of the large table for an evening playing games. Retreat to the cosy sunroom to soak up the gorgeous views from here, or for some peaceful reading time. The well-proportioned kitchen offers the ideal sociable space for your party of guests, with lots of room around the table. The utility room is also conveniently on the ground floor, along with a WC, and the first bedroom, with two single beds and an en-suite shower room. Head upstairs to find the stylish family bathroom and four more bedrooms. The first is a king-size room with an en-suite shower room, whilst the second, also with en-suite shower room, has a double bed and a single bed. The fourth bedroom offers two single beds, and the final bedroom has a double bed and two singles.

Fire up the BBQ for fun-filled al fresco meals in the beautiful garden, with patio furniture, lawns and flower borders. Enjoy watching the sun set over the hills, or indulge in some star-gazing from the hot tub, whilst children can burn off some energy on the swings and trampoline in the play area just beyond the parking spaces.

Had a fantastic long weekend with my family at this property. Wonderful, welcoming place to stay; close to the sea, with stunning scenery and plenty of places to visit close by. Would recommend driving as the property is located down a country lane, but has plenty of parking. This is a beautiful house in a stunning, peaceful and idyllic location. It makes for an excellent base for a family holiday to explore Aberystwyth and the surrounding area. The hot tub is an excellent addition.

Beautiful cottage in perfect location with attractive grounds. Comfy beds, everything we needed was there. Loved that the bedrooms had varied number of beds to suit all. Stunning views from the coastal path behind the cottage. Spacious rooms, hot tub filters cleaned daily. Friendly and helpful hosts. Would love to return.

Wonderful house with fantastic views. Absolutely a great house for a large party of 7 adults and 5 children - plenty of room for everyone and a large table so we could all eat together in the kitchen. Beautiful location, beautiful house, amazing rooms, hot tub amazing. We have been twice before and are planning to make it a yearly stay. Location is brilliant, 5 mins drive to Aber. We love it 10 out of 10.

Really lovely place looking across the fields and valley, short walk to the beach behind the house. Hot tub was hot, bubbly and clean. Lots of places to find to chill if there's a large group of you.

We had a lovely weekend away. The location was perfect. Close to Aberystwyth to visit for the day, but far enough away to be completely immersed in the countryside. Normally when properties advertise that they are for large groups, there never seems to be enough room round the table, enough seating in the living areas or enough crockery/towels etc,Read more however Pengraigdraw had more than enough of these things making the weekend extremely comfortable. The hot tub was an added bonus and the views were just amazing. A number of our group went on local walks from the cottage to the costal path which was not far away. We had an amazing time away and look forward to booking again in the near future and will be recommending to friends and family - thank you! Hide

We have loved this place. So relaxing and quiet, but so close to the town, you would never know. We are booking again for next year and every year again until we die happy old couples.

Could have been cleaner and dishwasher broken but owner had it fixed on our last Eve and gave us some free logs bathrooms not as clean as we would have liked but we still had a great holiday

Location and the surroundings are amazing. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. Property very dusty, cobwebs in view, kitchen was greasy and grimy, the extractor fan was very bad with cobwebs inside, only one tea towel provided in the kitchen, only one toilet roll in each toilet for 11 people for a 3 day weekend, no hand towels only bRead moreath towels, 3 or 4 used dog poo bags by the fence surrounding the hot tub, glass by the radiator in the downstairs bedroom. Although we would return to this property again as it was stunning we are disappointed of the standard of cleanliness. Hide

All of the family had a great time in the cottage and when we needed extra logs and help with the hot tub we got promp service. Large family home with everything we needed for our stay
