Set in a stunning elevated spot with glorious sea views, this spacious, fresh and stylish villa offers ample accommodation for up to six guests. Perfect for families and friends in search of an idyllic coastal retreat, this tranquil property occupies a beautiful hillside spot with a path leading down to the gorgeous Praa Sands Beach. Further west along the coast is the pretty town of Marazion, home to the historic St Michael’s Mount, just 5 miles away. This stretch of coast has some lovely coves, beaches and villages for you to discover including Prussia Cove, Perranuthnoe and Porthleven, all within 6 miles. Heading 7.5 miles inland, the friendly little town of Helston is home to the famous Flambards Theme Park.

This fresh and airy property features a cosy lounge which makes an ideal space for you all to unwind in at the end of a fabulous day. With a Smart TV, wood burner and plenty of seating, this is a great space to sit back, watch a movie or chat about the day. Exploring further, the delightful sunroom is a perfect spot for a morning coffee as you take in the beautiful view over the bay. There’s also a stylishly designed kitchen/diner, also with wonderful views. Featuring another wood burner, you can gather in the sociable dining space to share all your favourite meals which you can rustle up in the spacious and fully equipped kitchen. The ground floor also features a handy shower room, and there’s also a useful spot in the back hall for hanging wetsuits. Heading upstairs, the first floor has a refreshing shower room with a double-size shower cubicle, and three bright, relaxing bedrooms, all with lovely views. The first is a pretty king-size room with a TV and plenty of storage space, and there’s also a charming double room along with a pretty twin room.

Stepping outside, the property has a beautiful mature front garden and a delightful south-facing terrace with outdoor furniture, a BBQ and glorious sea views, providing a perfect spot for a lazy summer’s afternoon. A little path leads down the hill to the beach.

It was lovely to have the scones, cream & jam as well as coffee and tea welcoming us. We had travelled a long way and our online shop wasnt delivered for a few hours, so this was very welcome. The kitchen starter pack was also appreciated. The property has a great location with beautiful views from almost every room. The property has all the basiRead morecs and was clean. If you plan on cooking maybe take a large oven dish as 2 small ones were all I could find. The beds and bedding were a lovely fresh clean white as were the towels. The walk to the beach was very pleasant and we found Praa Sands a great base for beach walks, coastal walks and driving to explore Mousehole, St Ives and Porthleven (think I spelt all those right?) and many more places. The garden is very steep both front and back (hence the beautiful views). But the steps are well made and we had no problems. Hide

There needs to be some bowls,for mixing in the kitchen, and the chairs in the sitting room far too low to use without help getting out! The house is Not good for elderly people, and this should be made plain. The views are sensational though! and loved the new carpeting throughout. Would recommend to younger friends.

We absolutely loved our week at Uplands. What a location. the views and the constant sound of the waves were mesmerising. Gorgeous house which was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The sun room was very well used when the weather didnt permit sitting outside. We will definitely return. Thank you!

The cottage had a very good first impression having driven a long way on a wet day. It was comfortable and well equipped and inviting to spend a week on holiday. All the rooms have stunning views of the beach which is only a short walk away. The local shop was friendly and stocked with essentials, and we also hired boards and kayaks at a reasonableRead more cost from the knowledgeable and friendly hire centre. We enjoyed the coast path both East and West from the cottage. We had some meals out but also cooked a few times in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed eating looking over the beach. The downstairs shower is useful from coming back wet from the beach. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The car parking space is tight for 2 cars - we had a Fiesta and a Kuga. 2 large cars would not fit, or have space to turn around if next door also had 2 cars. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend. Hide

Uplands is truly the best accommodation we have ever had in UK. The long journey from Switzerland was worth every mile. We would have liked to stay much longer to enjoy this wonderful house which was a real home for two weeks. We just can recommend it.
