A delightful stone farm cottage with exposed stone walls and wooden beams designed to offer tranquillity and modern creature comforts. This rural hideaway would suit a family of four who value peace and quiet but who are open to the more social elements of a holiday where neighbours might become friends. The cottage, the largest of three on the site, sits 0.5 miles from the quiet village of Trefin, the stunning coastline at Aberfelin Bay and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. A visit to the cathedral city of St Davids, 8 miles from the cottage, is always time well spent, while the quaint harbour village Fishguard, home to a shingle beach, is just 10 miles away.
The fresh and appealing interior of the cottage is dominated by a bright and airy lounge/ dining room, where comfortable seating and even a piano are laid out across tiled floors warmed by underfloor heating. Equally impressive are the superb views of the coast from the stable door in the kitchen. Up the wooden staircase, guests will find two bedrooms - a double room and a twin room - along with a shower room with a WC.
Guests share the exterior utility room - complete with washing machine - with the other two properties on site, as well as the lawned garden. Younger guests will love the play area, which comprises swings, a slide and a fireman’s pole. The unenclosed space features garden furniture and would be the perfect place for a BBQ.
