At night, the dark skies are ideal for stargazing and in this particular area, part of the Mach Loop, aircraft enthusiasts can enjoy some impressive flypasts. Nearby Dolgellau, 3 miles, is a lively hub for walkers and climbers, and has a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants.
This characterful, two-storey holiday house retains many period features and is a particularly spacious base for a large family group. On the ground floor, you’ll find a large lounge with a handsome inglenook fireplace and a wood burner, a colourful country-style kitchen/diner with a table and chairs seating six, and an airy conservatory with a large trestle table and chairs to seat six, as well as a sofa area. Also on this floor is a dual-purpose utility room which functions as a ground-floor shower room with a WC and additionally houses a handy washing machine and some linen storage. All three bedrooms can be found just upstairs, and a bathroom with a cast-iron bath. All of these rooms have splendid views over the valley, there is a double bedroom and a large light-filled bedroom with a king bed that can be accessed through the twin bedroom, each with an entirely comfortable setting with those remarkable views to wake up to each morning.
