With its stylish interiors and superb views, this contemporary apartment makes a wonderful base to explore the historic and beautiful Isle of Anglesey. Located on the east coast, Benllech is a delight for families. Its long, sandy beach offers plenty of space for building sandcastles and rock pooling, while the water is great for swimming, sailing, windsurfing and sea fishing. It’s ideal for walkers too, with the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path passing through the village. There are many other beaches to explore including Llanddwyn (17 miles) on the south of the island, which is backed by sand dunes and a national nature reserve. Penmon Point (14 miles) on the north-east of the island is home to one of five working lighthouses on Anglesey, its unconventional black and white stripes standing out as you look across to Puffin Island. This is a wonderful spot for nature lovers with seabirds, seals, dolphins and harbour porpoises spotted offshore, while history lovers shouldn’t miss Beaumaris Castle (9 miles).
The entrance to this apartment is shared with one other apartment. Once inside, climb the stairs to the first floor and enter a hallway, which has plenty of space to store coats, shoes, bags and beach equipment. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is bright and airy with a modern fitted kitchen and dining table for four people. At the end of the room, the lounge has two relaxing sofas, a TV, and a patio door opening to a Juliette balcony with wonderful sea views. Along the hallway there are two comfortable bedrooms. The master has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, while the other has twin zip-and-link beds that can be converted to a super-king-size. A family bathroom completes the interior.
Outside there’s a communal lawn surrounding the building, while the beach is just 0.3 miles from your front door.
