For keen windsurfers and kite surfers, head to Ynyslas beach, 2 miles further north, with its 3-mile-long golden sands and grassy dunes. Take a trip to Aberystwyth, 6 miles, for a packed day out where you can stroll along the Victorian promenade and take your pick of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Travel on the electric cliff railway and delight in magnificent views over Cardigan Bay or set off on the Vale of Rheidol Railway to enjoy the stunning waterfalls at Devils Bridge. Open the beautiful oak front door and step inside this stunning cottage with a wealth of features. The lovely kitchen, with slate floor and rustic exposed beams, is the ideal social space for delicious meals and fun-filled evenings around the table. Two steps down take you into the lounge with exposed stone wall and beams, where floor length windows let in plenty of light. Curl up for a cosy movie night or enjoy a quiet read in this delightful room. Head upstairs to the two impressive bedrooms, both with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams making them light and airy. In bedroom one you’ll find a super-king-size bed which can be split for twin beds, and there’s an en-suite too – take a long soak in the bath after a busy day of adventures. A few steps away is the second, equally delightful bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite shower room.
Outside, the garden can be accessed via a path round to the back of the cottage. Soak away in any weather with a dip in the under-cover hot tub. Steps lead up from this area to the gazebo, a lovely spot for al fresco dining. A further patio area, with seating provided in the summer months, provides an alternative space to enjoy the evening air. The shed, for storage of bicycles and sports equipment, is at the edge of the enclosed, lawned garden.
Please be aware before booking that in times of drought hot tubs won't be available for guests during their stay. This is due to the hot tubs being filled up with water from a local water source. Additionally there is an electric car charging point available at a cost (maximum of 3 charges).
