This compact, terraced cottage, ideal for a couple or a small family, is situated in the small harbour town of Nefyn on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula. Its long, sandy bay is a hidden gem, known for its clear, blue waters and stunning views, and the town also has several shops and cafes and a famous headland golf course, Clwb Golff Nefyn Golf Club (2 miles away). Walkers will enjoy exploring the Wales Coast Path, which takes you from Nefyn’s Maritime Museum – well worth a visit – to the timeless fishing village of Porthdinllaen (2.5 miles), which lies on one of the prettiest bays in the area and has a great pub. The popular seaside resort of Abersoch, where you will find an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars, is 11 miles away. Here, you'll find several more beaches, including the sheltered main beach and dramatically beautiful Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth), a surfers’ favourite.
Enter straight into the cosy lounge area, tucked under the open-tread staircase, with its flame-effect electric fire and dining table at the rear. The bijou kitchen is in a lovely Shaker style, with a wooden worktop and space for preparing both picnics and evening meals. Upstairs, the double bedroom is on the landing area, from which both the ground floor and the second floor are accessed. One side of the bed is against the wall, but there is some storage – and lovely views from the full-length window. On this floor, you will also find the family bathroom, and up another set of stairs is the attic twin bedroom, with limited head height.
There is a small patio area in front of the house, partially enclosed with a low stone wall on one side.
