Panoramic sea views are on offer when staying in this fantastic three-storey house property hosting up to 11 guests. The impressive holiday home is located mere metres from Peveril Point, benefiting from unrivalled scenery yet located just half a mile from Swanage town centre. Situated on Dorset’s iconic Jurassic Heritage Coast, Swanage is awash with fantastic coastal scenery and geological intrigue. Head to Swanage Pier (0.5 miles) where you can embark on a boat trip to Poole Quay (10 miles) or embark on a scuba diving adventure. Swanage Beach (0.5 miles) presents you with sloping golden sands and glittering turquoise waters from which you can sunbathe, swim or surf when the weather is right. The South West Coast Path (less than 500 metres) offers a great chance to make the most of your surroundings on foot.

This accommodation has been thoughtfully laid out over the first, second and third floors of an instantly recognisable seafront building. A grand picture window offers a fantastic focal point in the lounge, complete with fitted window seats for sitting and admiring the view. Further seating solutions are made up of cushy sofas positioned around an ornamental fireplace and a TV and Blu-ray/DVD player. From here, continue through into the stunning kitchen/diner, with eye-catching patterned flooring. This newly refurbished space is bright and extremely spacious, complete with a large dining table where up to 11 guests can all sit around together. The first floor features the first of six bedrooms, a well-appointed double, and a shared family bathroom. Venture up to the second floor to find four further bedrooms, each one extremely inviting with comfortable beds and soft linens. These rooms are made up of a double, a twin, a single and a bunk bedroom that’s great for kids. You’ll also find a second family bathroom on this floor. A final flight of stairs leads up to the sixth and final bedroom, an extremely spacious twin bedroom with another picture window, comfy window seating and outstanding sea views.

While the accommodation doesn’t offer its own private outdoor space, you’ll find two pretty beaches within half a mile of your doorstep.

We had a brilliant Christmas. The house enabled us to have the family together with children, grandchildren and grandparents. The kitchen was equipped for that sort of occasion as were the size of the tables. The lounge was very comfortable and the location enabled us to leave the cars and just walk out of the door. My family have stayed at 3 Dolphin House a few times and find it a wonderful place to spend a week or two. Its very roomy, bright and airy with terrific views over Swanage bay. Being so close to the Lifeboat station, its really exciting to see the lifeboat going out from the living room window and its also great for seal watching ( if youre lucky!)Read more. Our grandchildren love swimming in the sea right outside which makes it ideal for drying them off quickly. A lovely place to make wonderful family memories. Hide

After visiting Dolphin house for over 20 years it hasn't lost its appeal and you cant beat the location

We really enjoyed our stay, the view was amazing. I wouldnt recommend the property to someone with mobility problems due to the hill down from the car park and the unevenness of the coastal path and also the amount of stairs in the property. The television in the living room is far too small for the size of the room. The wooden sofa is a bit hard aRead morend the green sofa is too low, whilst there are plenty of seats for dining, it might be more of a struggle for lots of people to sit down in comfort, especially older people. The very top bedroom gets so hot you couldnt possibly sleep in it in summer. Not all of the windows open and in the double bedroom on the living room floor, the window doesnt open at all. Other than those issues it is a nice place to stay, lovely quiet end of swanage with nice walks all around. There is parking for one car in the small car park behind the house if you can get in, otherwise there is a parking permit to park on the road above if you can find a space. For other guests there is a large public car park at broad road, which you have to drive through to get to the property. We left the car at the house and walked everywhere, there is lots to see and do around swanage. Hide

Beautiful house set so close to the sea you could almost reach out and touch it . Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen . We had a lovely weekend here for my friends hen do , and we made great use of the fabulous large sitting room and dining area . We really enjoyed our stay at Dolphin Cottage - amazing to be so close to the sea, with fantastic views. The kitchen is well equipped (good to have more plates, bowls etc than you need); this is a rarity. Thanks for a great week - we hope to come back!

Excellent and prompt service from the company to replace smoke detector batteries. Some of the items in the kitchen were unclean - the grill pan was full of grease, some plates were dirty and the freezer contained a half eaten bowl of ice cream.
