This property is situated on The Strand in the popular village of Saundersfoot. A good selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants are within half a mile and there are two superb beaches on either side of the working harbour. Take the coastal path through woodlands to the Victorian town of Tenby (3 miles) which has three beaches, a museum, an indoor climbing centre and boat trips leaving from the harbour. Folly Farm (4 miles) has lots of animals, from monkeys, meerkats and giraffes to farmyard favourites. Heatherton World of Activities (5 miles) includes go-karts, crazy golf, archery and bumper boats, and Oakwood Theme Park (9 miles) is packed full of rides and adventures.

The views are fantastic from most windows in the house. From the entrance hall, take a few steps down into a bedroom with three single beds and a door leading out onto the patio, and a bathroom with a sunken bath and overhead shower. Take a spiral staircase to the first floor, where you’ll find the lounge/diner with comfortable sofas, a dining area for six people and a patio door leading out to a small balcony with sea views and an exterior spiral staircase leading down to the patio. The kitchen is on this level and has windows on three sides with sea views. Another spiral staircase leads to the second floor, where there’s a snug single bedroom with a Velux window, and a twin room with an en-suite shower room.

The terraced patio features garden furniture and a BBQ. From here, you have direct access to the beach via steps.

We have stayed here 3 times over the last 3 years and loved it. If the property was not up for sale we would have booked it again next year.

The house is in the perfect location. Such a beautiful place. Seeing the sea lapping up to the back garden. But it's crying out for investment. Small things like new carpets (or clean them. So many stains) kitchen needs ripping out but you can live with it. Beds old spring mattresses. Struggling to sleep. I love this house but this review doesnRead more't read that way. Would I stay again Yes...would I recommend it..No. it just needs some money spent on what it charges for the week. Hide

Perfect location, comfortable sofas, gorgeous reading area just off the lounge, spacious bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space, kitchen has lots of storage and so pleased we found a house on The Strand which accommodated our little dog. Despite being terraced we heard no noise at all from either side which was great. Superb views of the beach fromRead more the rear of the property, direct access to the beach which was very much appreciated. Location is second to none! However, the property is a bit tired with some windows needing attention, downstairs bathroom smelt strongly of damp and property not very clean when we arrived. Hide

The property is well situated for the beach and village. The patio overlooks the beach which is great but the patio wall could be higher as not ideal with a dog. On rainy days a better tv with working Netflix and other channels would be nice. Overall the accommodation and location are brilliant and would highly recommend this property.

Nice property. A little dated, but we sort of knew that. Washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets would have been useful. A double /king-size bed would be good in one of the bedrooms, but details were as advertised.
