A perfectly presented three-storey Victorian terrace in the heart of the resort town of Sheringham, just 160 metres to the wonderful sandy beach. Full of original features and home comforts, with corniced high ceilings and beautiful bay windows, this holiday let is a charming base for your coastal adventures. Head 5 miles east to taste Cromer’s famous chalk-reef crab, visit the Amazona Zoo and see the theatre at Cromer Pier, or venture 10 miles west to spot seals over at Blakeney National Nature Reserve. For rural excursions away from the coast, head inland five miles to Felbrigg Hall for 520 acres of peaceful woodland and parkland with a lake and buggy-friendly paths.

Step into the welcoming hallway with original Victorian tiled flooring and move straight into the wonderful sitting room with plush sofas, an original open fireplace, and Smart TV with Freesat. You’ll be charmed by the kitchen/conservatory area, with handmade in-frame kitchen units with integrated appliances including two fridges and a range cooker. A country-cottage table offers a perfect place to gather together for morning coffee in here, while a larger table with seating for ten, is just the place for evening dinners and games nights. Finishing off the ground floor, there’s a wonderful wet room with a shower, WC and a heated towel rail, and a storage cupboard for coats and mucky shoes. Up on the first floor, there’s a wonderful den/TV room with a double sofa bed and Smart TV, alongside two restful super-king-size rooms and a twin for you to choose from. Wash up in the shower room or settle in for a long soak in the bathroom, boasting a wonderful corner Jacuzzi bath. A king-size room with an en-suite shower room, and a twin bedroom with long-reaching views out to sea can be found up on the second floor.

A gateway leads onto a trail that leads down to the beach. After days spent on the beach and swimming in the sea, there’s an outside hose, washing line and hanging rack to ensure you can quickly hose off sand and hang up wet beach gear. On sunny days and warm evenings, step out into the enclosed courtyard garden with outdoor furniture to eat and relax in the fresh air.

This is a fantastic house. Large with plenty of space in the bedrooms and downstairs. A lovely through lounge with a large dining room table and another kitchen table. Great for kids . We had a craft table set up in the kitchen and we could all eat next door. Seems to be in a quieter area of Sheringham and 5 mins to the beach . The house is beautiRead morefully maintained and very well equipped. We had 4-5 years olds so they could walk to the beach . We loved the shell museum and the beach cafes great for breakfast . I would highly recommend this house it is situated in a splendid location for young families. Hide

This is a great place to stay, comfortable and well equipped. It's very close to everything you need on a seaside holiday, i.e., the beach, the sea, several pubs and a plethora of sit down and take away restaurants.

It was our second visit to this property. As the weather was wet, it was difficult without a tumble dryer. Also the cooking roasting tins were not enough to cook for a family of ten and were of poor quality, I had to buy another tin and a saucepan..

Had a wonderful Xmas break at The Tides, house was stunning and very well equipped. Have stayed in Sheringham the last 5 years at Xmas, and love the location. This was by far the best property weve stayed in, and have already booked again for next year.
