The peaceful cottage offers an ideal retreat for any time of year, with country walks on the doorstep and the beautiful Norfolk coastline just three miles away. North Norfolk is renowned as a wildlife haven, with Royal Society for the Protection of Birds nature reserves at Snettisham (2.5 miles) and Titchwell (7 miles). Take your binoculars for a glimpse of amazing birds while children enjoy a range of fun activities such as pond dipping. In the seaside town of Hunstanton (4.5 miles), take an exciting trip on the Wash Monster. The converted landing craft ferries passengers to sandbanks where seals in one of the UK’s largest colonies take their ease. Hunstanton has a splendid beach, shops, bars and restaurants and there’s great food too, at the friendly village pub, just a quarter mile from the cottage. After a good lunch, walk along the Peddars Way, a trail following the old Roman route to the coast.
Enter through a rear porch and take two steps down into a pretty, country-style kitchen with quarry tiles and a round dining table and chairs for four. Snug sofas, a rug, wood burner and intriguing nooks and crannies in the sitting room add to the welcoming atmosphere. There are steps up to the ground-floor bathroom with a bath and shower over and WC. Stairs off the sitting room lead upstairs to two bedrooms, one double and one single.
The enclosed garden, at the side of the cottage has a suntrap patio with pergola, table seating for four and BBQ. A separate small table and chairs for two sits near the front door.
