Close to the popular Zip World and a short drive to paths and train up Yr Wyddfa- Snowdon, this 19th-century quarry workers house set in mountainous countryside of Eryri - the Snowdonia National Park, whose traditional and contemporary features have been thoughtfully blended. This is a welcoming holiday cottage that will serve activity-hungry families well throughout their holiday. The house is within 1 mile of the centre of Bethesda, a village that is home to, shops and pubs. The Carneddau mountain range, with the second and third highest peaks in Wales, lies 4.5 miles away from the cottage, while there are ample opportunities to absorb the Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, just under 1 mile away. The beaches on Anglesey are a short drive away.
The cosy and welcoming lounge is the ideal place to lose yourself in a good book, podcast or relax on the leather sofas in front of the wood burner effect fire after a long day out and about. The kitchen/diner is a bright and inviting space, with views of the surrounding mountains the perfect backdrop for food preparation, and there is also a handy utility room at the back of the property. There are two bedrooms upstairs, a king-size room and a single room, along with a bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate bath.
There are more unforgettable mountain views in the enclosed garden boarded by plants and trees, with a small, decked area with seating across from a natural slate rock feature.
