Directly accessible from the garden, Beadnell Bay is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, with diving, paddle boarding, surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing available in the local area. You can enjoy a variety of picturesque coastal walks and cycle trails up through Seahouses (2.5 miles) and Bamburgh (6 miles), and down towards Newton-by-the-Sea (6 miles), Embleton (6 miles) and Craster (9.5 miles). Settle in for a family movie night or curl up by the wood burner for a relaxing evening, or take a seat at the dining table for a sociable home-cooked feast or takeaway meal. French doors from the lounge/diner lead out to the garden. The contemporary kitchen is fitted with high-quality integrated appliances and offers views towards the sand dunes. In the shower room, you’ll find a large walk-in shower, and there is a separate WC. Bedroom 1 is a bright and spacious king-size room with garden views. Bedroom 2 is a spacious twin bedroom with zip-and-link beds, which can be arranged as a super-king-size bed on request. Bedroom 3 is a cosy single bedroom. The cosy seating area offers comfortable seating for 4, a feature fireplace and a TV. Bedroom 1 is a cosy king-size room, and Bedroom 2 is a bright and cheerful twin bedroom with garden and patio views. The shower room features a walk-in shower.

Outside, this holiday home benefits from an enclosed garden with direct gated access to the sand dunes. This private south-westerly facing garden benefits from all day sun, but it is sheltered from the sea breeze. Garden furniture is provided for al fresco dining and relaxing in the sunshine.

We had a fabulous week at Sandy Dell as an extended family group (five adults, one teenager, three children between 4-10 and one large dog), and couldn't fault the property or the stunning location - the closest to the beach we have ever stayed, perfect for morning dog walks, daytime sandcastle building with the kids and even an evening dip on the Read morehottest day of our trip. The bungalow was cosy and comfortable with plenty of parking, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday, the little 'sink' outside the back door for washing sandy feet and beach kit was a very useful touch and the children loved the garden and the window seat. Beadnell was far enough off the beaten track to be quiet and restful, but still had good places to eat out, and it was easy to get to Alnwick and Seahouses for the big shop and further afield for days out. Finding a big enough property for our group which was also dog-friendly was a challenge, we got very lucky with Sandy Dell and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. Hide

Property was in an amazing location. The property itself was really not very clean especially behind and under furniture. The annex had not been cleaned at all although the bedding had been changed. On a plus side beds were comfortable and bedding freshly laundered.

property iinformation: the microwave was in the annex and could not be moved. No instructions for induction hob, provided, and instructions for TV and cooker were for different models! Not easy... The heating arrangements were splendid and all other equipment was very good indeed.
