An ideal retreat for a small family or couples sharing, this delightful cottage is comfortable and spacious. Its village location in North Creake offers a local pub, small children’s playground and beautiful scenic walk routes just metres from your doorstep, so you’re sure to enjoy a tranquil break. Not far from the property is the ever-popular Georgian village of Burnham Market, 3 miles, a picturesque and leafy place with some lovely boutique shops and eateries. The pretty seaside villages of Brancaster, with its glorious beach and Blakeney, with its nature reserve, are both within 15 miles where you can find plenty to do.
As you enter, you’ll be struck by the characterful charm of an ancient property that’s been thoughtfully renovated. The living space is made up of an open-plan kitchen/diner that’s contemporary but features a beamed ceiling and quarry tiles as well as a specious dining area. The sitting room also boasts a dark beamed ceiling and imposing inglenook fireplace – it’s quite the centrepiece. Sleeping up to four guests, upstairs the master has a king-sized bed and the second bedroom is made up as a twin room. There’s a pretty family bathroom up here too with a lovely skylight.
Outside there is an established, enclosed garden to enjoy with plenty of lawn for children to run around on, mature trees to sit under and high hedging to hide behind! If you’re planning a more sedate pace however, there’s also a spacious courtyard area with a table, chairs and BBQ. Private parking for two cars under the cart shed can also double up as bike storage.
