Located in the ancient Market Town of Marazion, home to the iconic castle of St Michael's Mount, this cottage has stunning views of the Lizard Peninsula and an unusual layout that’s ideal for adult groups and families. Restaurants, traditional pubs, craft shops, galleries, bakeries and a pottery are all within a mile and a rustic bar with water views and a beer garden can be found just behind the cottage. Swim, sail, kite surf, try watersports and watch dolphins at the sandy beach overlooking St Michael's Mount, just over 300 metres from your front door. Visit Godolphin Cross, a little hamlet 6 miles away within the Cornish Mining World Heritage site and climb to the summit of Godolphin Hill, for spectacular panoramic views over West Cornwall. Or drive to the fishing village of Porthleven and the town of Helston, 9 miles east, with numerous picturesque coves to be discovered en route.
The ground floor accommodates a bright and spacious kitchen/dining room, two double bedrooms (one with an en-suite shower room) and a family bathroom. Occupying the first floor, the lounge has a double-height apex ceiling, timber beams, sofas, an armchair and a door leading to the balcony, through which the sea can be viewed. Above this, is a mezzanine level, overlooking the lounge via a painted wooden balcony and housing the third double bedroom, which has fantastic views of the water.
Enclosed by walls and a hedge, the patio has a table and chairs, and a bench seat. A first-floor balcony provides direct views across the sea to St Michael's Mount, with dining furniture, a parasol and additional armchairs.
