This is ideal for two people. We loved the peaceful, rural situation which nevertheless had numerous lovely towns and villages within east reach.

We had the most lovely stay at 'Shep'. Set in a beautiful meadow with its own parking, table and chairs, fire pit and hammock. Inside it is a pretty and thoughtfully designed space with everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The bed is very comfortable. We stayed in August but this would be lovely in colder times with its electric stove that Read morelooks just like a wood burning stove in the corner! I highly recommend The Orchard's Retreat Shepherd's Hut. Hide

A lovely shepherds hut good size & with all the modern conveniences. Located on farmland, a careful drive is all that is needed to all the local amenities. Lots to see and do in the area. Lovely location in an orchard with sheep & wildlife, perfect for relaxing. I plan to return when the weather is warmer & dryer.
