We spent one week as a family of four in that cottage and absolutely loved it. It's really well-equipped and super cozy but large enough for a family of four! Parking was also not a problem as we always found a spot in front of the house. It's not far by foot from Bakewell city centre, though the way back is up the hill and probably not for people Read morewith walking difficulties. Contact with the owner Helen was also great and we really liked all the little helpful notes that she left all over the cottage as it shows that she is really committed in making things easier for the guests. We would definitely come again if possible! Hide

A wonderful, clean, well proportioned property, situated up the hill, half a mile from the shops. Fantastic views from the front bedroom, Well stocked kitchen, on road parking plus a parking space further away. No probelms finding space there anyway! It was a great base for exploring and spacious rooms great for relaxing in.

Kerry cottage is well situated for the town of Bakewell and has two parking options. We didn't find parking a problem but we went in September. The cottage is very clean and well presented. The lounge is very comfortable as is the main bedroom with adequate storage. The bathroom is spacious with a separate shower and bath which we liked. PersonallyRead more we found the kitchen rather gloomy; we had the lights on most of the time, and a little clinical for eating in. The lack of attractive outside space for sitting was an issue for us. Hide

This cottage was particularly clean and well equipped. The owner had thought of everything, even clips for unfinished food bags. There was plenty of information and clear instructions provided too.

Future bookings with OC - Any subsequent visit to the area will likely involve staying in a B&B. Recommending OC - Might do, but nowadays people do their own research online.
