On the doorstep is the Peddars Way, a footpath along the route of a Roman road which meets the North Norfolk coastal path near the pretty village of Holme-next-the-Sea (4.8 miles). The cottage is less than a quarter mile from the award-winning village pub and you’ll find more eating places and shops in the village of Heacham, (3 miles) and Hunstanton (4 miles), famous for its golden beach. The promenade in this lively seaside resort is ideal for pushchairs and wheelchairs and runs for two miles to Heacham, home of the world-renowned Norfolk Lavender. With the spectacle of almost 100 acres of glorious lavender gardens, tours of the distillery, tea and gift shops and a small animals barn, this makes a great outing for all ages.
The property’s impressive entrance hall opens to a large, comfortably furnished sitting room, complete with a wood burner set in a feature fireplace and French doors on to the garden and patio. Both the kitchen dining room are a generous size, and a utility room houses a washer/dryer and freezer. A king-size bedroom on the ground floor is next to a shower room with WC. The first floor contains a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom comprising a bath, shower and WC, two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom.
