From here you can browse independent craft shops, take a trip on a steam train or simply admire the view across the Dwyryd Estuary. For trips to the beach, you’ll want to head to Black Rock Sands for swimming and rock pooling (8 miles) or Harlech Beach for golden sands and surfing (15.5 miles). Venture into Snowdonia National Park for an endless array of walking or cycling routes, including a pretty pathway around Trawsfynydd Lake (15 miles).
