A coastal gem, this is the perfect home for a relaxing or active holiday for couples or a small family, and an ideal base for exploring the Norfolk coast and countryside. Centrally located, you'll have the delights of Wells-next-the-Sea right on your doorstep. Enjoy a spot of crabbing by the harbour and watch the yachts rise and fall with the tide or walk along the harbour walkway. Nearby is the historic house of Holkham Hall (3.5 miles), which also offers an adventure playground and boating lake. The picturesque towns of Holt (13 miles), Cley (10 miles) and Burnham Market (6.5 miles) are within easy driving distance and well worth a visit.

There was quite a large amount of dust and grime between the basin cabinet and the shower. One tea towel for a week? No cupboards in the bedrooms so clothes have to hang on hooks which are unsatisfactory. Get rid of all those silly cushions from the beds which end up stacked on the floor taking up space. A few spare pillows would be more use.

The cottage was exactly what we wanted and the description on the website was accurate. The cottage was well equipped and furnished. The fridge/freezer was one of the largest I've seen in a holiday let which was great. And there was also a washing machine and separate tumble dryer which it we'd been there longer would have been ideal. It's walkiRead moreng distance to the harbour and there were plenty of places to eat/drink and you can walk along the water to get to Holkham Beach. An ideal location and we inteng to return. Hide
