This double-fronted property sleeping six guests has lovely country views and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it an ideal holiday home for families or a group of friends to share. Located down a tree-lined drive and surrounded by fields, the farmhouse is just 3 miles from the lively university city of Bangor. Visit its shops and restaurants and enjoy a stroll down the delightful Victorian Garth pier for fabulous views of the Menai Strait against a backdrop of Eryri - the Snowdonia National Park. For a closer look at the highest peak in England and Wales, head for Llanberis (7 miles) and the famous railway that climbs 4.7 miles to the summit of Snowdon. If adventure calls, get a bird’s eye view of gorgeous scenery on a 152m high zipline, one of a range of adrenalin-fuelled activities run by Zip World near Bethesda (5 miles). Nearby Penrhyn Castle (4.5 miles) is a magnificent 19th-century country mansion set in extensive gardens and managed by the National Trust.
The spacious living room is full of character, with ceiling beams, a feature stone wall and some charming pieces of antique furniture, together with brasses and a traditional shepherd’s crook displayed on a beam above the fireplace. Light the cosy wood burner and relax on two comfortable sofas and a wing chair in front of the Smart TV. The attractive, country-style kitchen has a pine dining table and chairs, while a light and airy conservatory with rattan seating is ideal for a quiet moment. Its doors open onto the patio and a pretty terraced garden, with tranquil views of open fields beyond. Upstairs are three beautifully furnished bedrooms: a king-size, a double and a twin, all with lovely rural views. A family bathroom provides an electric shower over the bath and a WC.
A raised front patio with a bench and country views is sheltered by a small, terraced garden. The rear garden has a lawn and seating.
