Situated on the shoreline of Budle Bay, this second-storey apartment offers uninterrupted views across the sea toward Lindisfarne, also known as Holy Island, a must-visit destination across the causeway for its welcoming traditional pubs, abbey and castle ruins, and sandy beaches. Bamburgh, with its ancient sea-facing castle and wealth of independent eateries and shops, is 2 miles away. With its tidal mudflats, this stretch of heritage coast is a haven for migrating sea birds and wildlife. Outdoor lovers will find plenty of walking trails - including the coastal path to Bamburgh accessible from the front door.

This immaculately renovated apartment is located on the second floor of a former grain mill, now enjoying listed status. Stairs or a lift lead up to the apartment to reveal an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with large windows and window seats overlooking Budle Bay. The kitchen is well equipped with everything required for a self-catering break and the living area is stylishly furnished. The king-size master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with walk in shower. Two further spacious bedrooms, one which is a zip n link king size that can be made into a twin on request, and an additional twin room, both feature window seats. The family bathroom completes the accommodation.

Guests can enjoy a shared lawned area with garden furniture and uninterrupted views across the bay.

The apartment was great. Location ideal with fantastic views of the bay. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly want. Lots of useful information both in the apartment and also from the owner. We felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our few days there. Would definitely recommend it and hopefully we will return.

The view is exceptional - and oh, those sunsets!! Absolute gem of a property overlooking the estuary and within easy drive to Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Seahouses, and other local attractions. Our host could not have been more welcoming, informative, or supportive. There is a walk on the other side of the estuary, which is only open for a couple of Read moremonths of the year, but we saw numerous yellowhammers and hares. It was also full of bird life in the estuary, including Goosander and Curlew. This is situated in an absolutely beautiful part of the country and we hope to return at some point in the future. Hide

Fantastic property. Apartment is very well equipped and beds are super comfortable. It's a twitchers' paradise with great views of the burn and estuary from the window seats. We can't wait to return! The owner should get 10*!

A fabulous apartment with an ever changing view across the bay. Our 4 generations family group all enjoyed it in different ways - watching the tides coming in and out, heron fishing in the stream below us, space in the lounge for baby rockers and full trainset and zoo/farm set up for toddler, comfy sofas for grown ups, extensively provisioned kitRead morechen with the open plan set up enabling everyone to be together whatever was going on! The apartment is absolutely amazing and the owners have thought of everything, including a lovely welcome tray and the best equipped kitchen at a rented cottage I have ever stayed in! The views are simply breathtaking, as is the location - absolutely ideal for exploring Bamburgh and surrounding areas!

From start to finish, we had an excellent stay in Bay View. The apartment is well equipped, in a great location with lovely views of the bay. It is well situated & within easy access to towns, shops & restaurants. It was very quiet & relaxing, with lots of parking & a lovely garden area.
