Previously a standalone stable constructed in the late 1800’s, this characterful first-floor apartment is an ideal property for small groups of friends or families all year round. Situated in the heart of the Dales’ popular walking areas amongst market towns and unspoilt villages, there are ample local attractions to enjoy. Less than 6 miles away is the charming market town of Hawes, home to the world-famous Wensleydale Cheese and boasting an array of traditional shops and cafes. For a spot of history, visit the National Park Centre and Dales Countryside Museum or the restored Gayle Mill. For those looking to explore the breathtakingly beautiful surrounding countryside, there is an abundance of walks to be enjoyed, including the stunning Pennine Way, whilst plenty of quiet backroads offer ideal cycling routes.

As you step into this delightful cottage you will be able to discard boots and coats in the hallway after a busy day exploring. There is also a handy utility area complete with an overflow freezer and a washer/dryer. Stairs lead to the upper floor and into the beautifully appointed living room/ diner. The exposed stone walls and beams make this a wonderfully atmospheric room to retire to and relax with a glass of wine. Curl up on the luxurious leather sofas by the cosy wood burner whilst watching the Smart TV or simply take in the magnificent views of the Dales. Enjoy a meal together at the oak dining table which can be prepared in the well-appointed and stylish kitchen. The master bedroom is a tastefully decorated and well laid out room with a double bed and there are also two well-appointed and comfortably furnished single bedrooms and a contemporary family bathroom.

Whilst there is no outside space, you are perfectly placed in a rural location within the pretty landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales with myriad opportunities for walking.

Really appreciated this comfortable, clean and well equipped property in an excellent position overlooking the village green in Bainbridge. Would certainly recommend to others and are considering revisiting next year.

Nice house, for very young kids be careful with the stairs. But otherwise a great free playground is around! And the house has everything you need and is a comfortabel place.

Upper Cherry Bank was a great cottage to stay in & Bainbridge is a really nice place to stay & a good base. The cottage had plenty of room & all the facilities that we needed for a relaxing week, & with many walks from the door. There are lovely views from the apartment over the village, the green & surrounding countryside.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage, so well equipped, very comfortable beds and very clean. We wouldn't hesitate to come back and are already planning to return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A lovely short break over a long weekend. Upper Cherry Bank is well appointed with everything we needed. A very comfortable home away from home that is well positioned for walking as well as the village pub and the Bake Well Tea Rooms for very friendly staff and excellent food.
