Stone House is a modern house set in the picturesque village of Ellingham, yet only a few minutes drive from the A1. The house is ideal if you are attending weddings at Newton Hall or Ellingham Hall and all the attractions of Northumberland are within easy reach. The property is very well insulated for sound and thermal comfort. There was ample Read moreparking for three vehicles on the forecourt with additional car parkng on the road. The house is comfortably furnished with good quality accessories and very well equipped. The rear garden is fully enclosed which was ideal for our two young grandchildren. The garden overlooks the grounds of Ellingham Hall and you can see the landscaped gardens and resident peacocks. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There are three spacious bathrooms upstairs and a ground floor toilet. We had an enjoyable stay at this property and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Hide

Lovely house in a fantastic position for visiting Northumberland. Clean and very comfortable, in a quiet location but with a pub five minutes walk away doing excellent food. Would definitely go back.

We enjoyed our stay very much, felt like home from home for us. There was a blip with the heating and hot water on our arrival, but this was sorted efficiently by the agents, extra logs were left for us and by the day after our arrival we had hot water ( heating was not required during our stay). We explored much of Northumberland and enjoyed the qRead moreuiet location of this property. Hide

All descriptions were accurate and communication before, during and after the holiday were helpful and well timed. We had a slight issue with the cot not being in the property but this was quickly rectified before the baby's bedtime so did not spoil our experience.
