Situated on a former shipyard on the east-side of Whitby and nestled by the harbour; this stylish, light and airy apartment offers the perfect accommodation for groups of friends and families to explore this beautiful seaside town. The town centre is less than a mile away where guests can visit the array of shops and restaurants aligning the picturesque twisted cobbled streets. Climb the famous 199 steps to Whitby Abbey and enjoy sweeping views across the town and soak up the atmosphere of the place rumoured to have been the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. For a little more immersive history, guests can take a stroll around the vibrant and bustling harbour and see where British explorer Captain James Cook first worked as an apprentice before setting sail and discovering Australia. Just under 6 miles away is the picturesque fishing village of Robins Hood’s Bay, famous for its fossil-filled beaches and tales of smugglers shipwrecks and pirates! This beautiful part of the world certainly has something to offer for all ages.

Lovely clean and well equipped property in a great location, a comfortable place for a few days away. Parking is a big plus, ten minutes walk gets you to the cobblestone streets and swing bridge giving easy access to everything Whitby has to offer.

The flat was very clean plenty of room lovely views out to Witby would of been nice to have left at a more convenient time 9 am in the morning is to early and 4 pm to get into the flat to late most of the day was gone when we arrived

Many plusses for this apartment however hassle from the adjoining property owner a little off-putting. Patio furniture not in keeping with quality of internal furnishings.

We found 3, The Old Sail Loft a superb property and its location right on the waterside quite stunning affording constant ever changing views of all the wild life and nautical activities on the estuary. The apartment was extremely comfortable and beautifully kept and the provisions and welcome pack were highly generous. We enjoyed a very peaceful bRead morease there along with easy walking access to all the facilities of Whitby or inland into the surrounding countryside. It was great to be able to do so much without needing to use the car. Hide
