Appreciate the peace and quiet of this stand-out location, situated on a tree-lined avenue in a residential area yet just 1 mile from the town centre of Holt. Wander into town to peruse the weekly market, pick up locally sourced goodies or visit an antique centre. The town itself sits on the very border of the Norfolk Coast AONB, a true beauty spot with stunning beaches just 4 miles away. Head to the dog-friendly Salthouse Beach (4.5 miles) and be sure to stop off for freshly caught crab at an eatery close by (4 miles). To see the area in a different light, board the North Norfolk Railway from Holt train station (0.5 miles) to enjoy a steam train ride to the nearby seaside town, Sheringham (6 miles).

Striking from the moment you pass through the gate, this country retreat stands proud amongst a sweeping gravel driveway and sumptuous greenery. Step inside to be greeted by a soft palette of colours and romantic interiors throughout. In the living room, you'll be pleased to find plenty of space for six to settle in for the evening. Complete with an L-shaped sofa, additional armchairs and a Smart TV, this spot will be comfortable no matter what. Enjoy a board game together or switch on the games console. Next, you'll find a compact yet well-thought-out kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso machine for use throughout your stay. A separate dining room can also be found, complete with bench-style seating for six, along with a handy ground floor pantry and washing machine. The first of three bedrooms is situated right here, furnished with a double bed and boasting a wonderful view of the pretty gardens. Finally, a shower room with WC and heated towel rail completes this floor. Step upstairs to find two further bedrooms and a final family bathroom with WC, bath, separate shower and heated towel rail. The first of the bedrooms is a bunk bedroom that’s perfect for children and the second is a splendid master bedroom. To the rear of the property sits a sprawling garden that’s set to lawn. As you exit the holiday home, you’ll find yourself instantly on a patio with outdoor dining set and gas BBQ. Cottage is really comfortable and well stocked with equipment . Very warm. Lots of space. Great location for North Norfolk Coast.

Lovely, well equipped cottage that is well situated. Lovely garden and seating area which gets the sun from mid morning to sunset. 15 minute walk into Holt and a short drive to Sheringham and Cromer. Great coastal bus service which we would recommend and saves having to get the car out.

Fantastic property in a great location. Well presented inside and well equipped for our stay. One of the main draws to the property was the outside space as we were holidaying with our dog, Holt is a lovely town and the Bailey made a perfect base to explore north Norfolk.

The cottage was clean and in an idyllic location and was perfect for walking into the town. Also had a games cupboard which was a nice touch!
