Occupying a tranquil spot in the grounds of Oxwich Castle Farm, this charming getaway makes a fantastic base for families to experience the long sandy beaches, quaint villages and gorgeous woodlands of the Gower Peninsula. Situated near the ruins of a Tudor manor house, this delightful cottage is ideal for keen walkers, cyclists and nature lovers to explore this spectacular region, with Oxwich Bay Beach leading east along the beautiful Swansea Bay. 0.5 miles from the house, the picturesque village of Oxwich is known for its thatched cottages, and is home to a National Nature Reserve. Swansea is 13 miles away, with its pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops, plus attractions including Plantasia, the Dylan Thomas Centre and the National Waterfront Museum.

On entering this light, airy and cheerful cottage, head through to the delightful lounge which is an ideal space for everyone to get together and unwind. There’s a spacious dining room with views over the garden, as well as a light and fully equipped kitchen. The ground floor also offers an invigorating family bathroom. Heading upstairs you will find the four fresh and relaxing bedrooms: there’s a double, two singles and a king-size room which has its own en-suite shower room.

Heading outside, there’s a fenced-off front patio along with a large, fenced back garden with astroturf. Outdoor furniture on the patio area, provides a lovely spot to dine outside with countryside views.

Very secluded property near the beach although a steep downhill walk away. Worked very well with two families staying in the two semi- detached properties. Well equipped kitchen and large table in dining room, useful for two family meals. Lovely area to explore.

A stunning,peaceful location next to oxwich castle and farm,and near to oxwich beach,one of the most beautiful beaches you can find! Super walks right out over the cliffs, and lots of great pubs not too far away.

Great property situated right next to the castle, very pleasant surprise when we drove up the lane, comfy beds , secure garden for the dog.

The location and cottage were so lovely we didnt want to go home! The surroundings very peaceful allowing a relaxing break, a short walk from a lovely beach, pub, shop and of course fish & chips! Not too far either to explore other beaches in the area, the dogs were worn out from having so much fun playing at the beaches. Everywhere we went was dogRead more friendly and the gardens of the property securely fenced. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we are already looking at when we can visit again. Hide
