A graceful stone cottage overlooking a quaint courtyard, situated by the tranquil Seahouses Harbour and within easy reach of the Northumbrian Coast. This peaceful hideaway is perfect for small families and groups of friends. Stroll along the harbour and listen to the fisherman’s boats clinking in the water, 200 metres away, or sail to the nearby Farne Island and spot the local colonies of grey seals and puffins. Embrace the salty coastal breeze and saunter along the sandy stretch of beach at Bamburgh, 3 miles, then refuel at one of the charming maritime pubs.

This is a chic, open-plan property with spacious rooms, crisp design features, and bespoke touches. Step through the porch to the lounge/dining area where you can kick off your shoes, sink into the plush sofa, and unwind with a good movie and nibbles after a day of bracing beach winds. We spent a very pleasant 4 nights in Kipper cottage. We found the property well equipped & comfortable with plenty of space for the 4 of us. The cottage is well placed to access all that Seahouses offers & is very close to the harbour which was great for an evening walk. In Seahouses we would recommend Lewis's fish & chip shop & Insieme italian resRead moretaurant. We also would highly recommend Indian Brasserie, the food was very good & the staff were friendly & efficient. The coastal walks are easily accessed from the property to get to Bamburgh, Beadnall & beyond. All in all a great place to stay & enjoy Northumberland. Hide

The cottage is in a perfect location, and is clean and tidy. Creaky floorboards were an issue, but probably not easily rectified now that carpets have been laid. There is also a leak from the shower screen which means the bathroom floor is always wet especially when there are 3 of you using the shower daily.

Lovely cottage, perfect location to walk in to seahouses. The cottage was cosy and the bedrooms were well laid out. Nice touch with the coffee / tea and milk left when we arrived too. Honestly cant fault this lovely cottage.

This is a very clean, well equipped property in a great location. Very handy for the beach but close to great pub/restaurants. The only drawback is no outside space.

Although a pleasant cottage, it didn't seem value for money. The living area window looks out onto the courtyard car park. It seemed strange that cookies and tea/coffee were provided, but you need to bring your own toilet roll, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid (tiny amounts were provided). The kitchen had reasonable supplies for cooking. ThRead moree beds were very firm, and there was confusion about the layout as we requested twin beds in Bedroom 2 thinking this was the smaller bedroom with shelves, however the larger bedroom with a wardrobe was set up as twins. The electric shower is very weak with very hot water. The location is ok - a good base to get to other places, although we didn't find Seahouses itself particularly nice. Good pub right outside the cottage though. Parking was ok, 2 spaces provided, but one space was quite narrow. Hide
