This lovely cottage sits in the pretty village of East Barsham and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Head into the town of Fakenham (3 miles) to buy local produce at the traditional weekly market, which has been a regular fixture since the 13th century. The Barsham Arms which was recently featured on the Hairy Bikers is within easy walking distance (please note The Barsham Arms is temporarily closed but will hopefully be reopen for the summer), as is the Barsham Brewery, their Street Food Fridays with live music is very popular. Alternatively, make your way to Wells-next-the-Sea (8 miles) for the day, where you can stroll along the pretty quay, get some great photos beside the multicoloured beach huts, or grab a bite to eat in one of the pubs. Or head to Morston Quay (10.5 miles) and take a boat trip to see the seals basking at Blakeney Point. Foodies will adore sampling the fresh crab in Cromer (23.5 miles) or the mussels in Brancaster (17.5 miles).
