This unique property is located in the off-the-beaten-track village of Eastbridge, just half a mile from RSPB Minsmere - the flagship coastal nature reserve. Surrounded by unspoilt countryside, this location is a haven for nature enthusiasts and lovers of the great outdoors who want to soak up the best of the coast and countryside in Suffolk. The village is home to a delightful inn that serves great food. A little further afield, the fascinating town of Aldeburgh (6 miles), with its long stretch of pebble beach, unique architecture, art galleries and an independent high street offers plenty of activities. Closer to home is the charming market town of Saxmundham with a wealth of things to do.

This spectacular home is the ultimate holiday accommodation for a group of eight guests. Entering the property, the timber-framed, open-plan living space has a real wow factor. Its fabulous, vaulted ceiling with skylights creates a real sense of space in this extremely stylish home. Featuring a living area with gorgeously comfortable sofas around a wood burner and a separate industrial-style dining table, the group will be able to spend hours socialising in this space. There’s also a unique and well-fitted kitchen if you fancy cooking and eating in. For a cosier space, there’s also a snug with games and books as well as a functional utility that houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. Two lovely bedrooms can also be found on this floor – both tastefully decorated super-king-size rooms (one that can be arranged as a twin if requested) as well as a shower room. The first floor features two more stylishly furnished bedrooms, one king size room with en-suite shower and one pretty twin. There is also a further shower room so hopefully no need for queues in the morning.

A generous, enclosed garden with a large lawn is ideal for children to burn off some energy and there’s also a patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ that offers al fresco cooking and dining opportunities. For added entertainment, garden games are also provided.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation, very comfortable and spacious. Lovely location. The only issue at the moment is the road closures. It would be very helpful for people to know when each of the routes in were closed.

We had a lovely few days here. The cottage is lovely with plenty of room and location was perfect for Southwold, Aldeburgh and RSPB Minsmere. We were three couples and two friends so twin bedroom was important. Plenty of fridge and freezer space and pub across the road was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the area. The pub across the road was a bonus. The rooms were light and spacious. Having a second sitting room was handy for any one who wanted a bit of quiet time . Plenty of parking. There is WiFi at the house but in line with a lot of the area there is no phone signal. Really great location for Minsmere with beautiful walks outside the door rich in wildlife. Also opposite a pub for good food. House is generally comfortable, (lovely sofas) but a few maintenance issues which could be easily resolved. Quick to get someone out though when it was clear by day 2 we wouldn't get any hot water Be aware you are unliRead morekely to have a mobile phone signal with most providers in the area (though the property does have good wifi) and there is no terrestial TV - just streaming services on the television - not that you'll want to watch much television with some much amazing wildlife in your doorstep Hide

The cottage itself overall was pretty good. Acres of room for six of us. The location was a bit away from the beaten track however and apart from the Eels Foot pub there was literally nothing nearby. A car was a must. There were some issues with the cottage facilities that have been fed back to the owners separately and whilst it did not affect oRead moreur overall enjoyment, it did take the edge off it. There are ample items of equipment to be able to do things and store things however but the lack of hot water was a problem. The washing facilities, ie the showers worked fine. Overall a fine cottage but not sure whether, as older people, we would return Hide

Bridge Cottage is an excellent holiday cottage. The accommodation is spacious. 4 double bedrooms and three bathrooms with showers and WCs. The main sitting room is extremely large, more like some medieval-style hall. There is parking for 4/5 cars. We were a three-generational group including young children. We all very much enjoyed our stay. Read moreThere were lots of us but the sheer space meant that everything was very relaxed. Hide
