Steeped in music and history, Binham is a prime holiday destination. The 11th-century priory hosts a series of classical concerts each summer. Staying at this barn, you’re close to the heart of the village and all it has to offer including a welcoming pub, shop and farm dairy. The North Norfolk coast is around 5 miles away, offering plenty of opportunities for seaside fun. You could go seal-spotting at Blakeney Point (4.3 miles) or spend a day in the harbour town of Wells-next-the-Sea (5.5 miles). For a host of independent shops, art galleries and antique shops, be sure to check out the Georgian towns of Holt (7.5 miles) and Burnham Market (11 miles).
You’re in for a treat the moment you enter this stunning property. While the building may date back centuries, the interior is modern and fresh while retaining key character details such as the beams. The lounge/dining area offers plenty of space – and comfy seating – for your group to relax in front of the wood burner and watch TV or chat about that day’s events. While you’re talking or eating, pop some music on through the Bluetooth speaker. The dining table is positioned next to the French doors, bathing the whole area in natural light. This light and bright feel continues throughout the accommodation. Off the main living area is a snug with a low, sloping ceiling, where you can cosy up and watch TV, warmed by a wood burner-effect electric fire. Here you’ll find another set of French doors leading to the garden, which are set in an attractive arch. The kitchen, with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, has a charming breakfast table where you can play the day’s adventure. Open the French doors out onto the garden on those warm and sunny days. A handy cloakroom with WC completes the ground floor. At the end of the day, three light-filled, relaxing bedrooms await, all with low, sloping ceilings. There is the master bedroom with king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC and heated towel rail. Next up is the cosy double bedroom, and, finally, the third bedroom offers two end-to-end 2’ 6” single beds. You’ll also find a bathroom on this floor, containing a bath with a hand-held shower attachment, WC and heated towel rail.
Head outdoors and there’s plenty of space to relax in the private, lawned garden which is walled on two sides. A range of garden furniture means you can make the most of such peaceful surroundings – from sunbathing to al fresco dining, there are tables and chairs for all occasions. The property offers private parking for three cars.
