This characterful retreat offers a peaceful place in which to holiday for up to nine guests. Situated in the quiet village of Southrepps which has a couple of great pubs and a village shop for your basic needs, you’ll find a wealth of Norfolk countryside and coastal delights nearby. If you don’t fancy getting in the car, there are plenty of footpaths and cycle trails from the front door. Being just 6 miles from Cromer, you can easily find yourself on the Norfolk Coast Path for some spectacular walks or enjoy the quintessential seaside town itself with its iconic pier, stunning beaches and tasty seafood dishes. For kids, there’s Amazona Zoo here too or the KartTrak for the adrenaline junkies of the group. If you need something a little more sedate, head to the Bure Valley Railway (10 miles) for a nostalgic steam train ride through pretty countryside.
Enter the pretty double-fronted cottage with lawns to the front. The lounge is a bright and airy space with large L-shaped sofa and 50” Smart TV as well as a record deck with vinyls. The farmhouse-style kitchen/diner is well equipped with a breakfast bar, dining table and separate snug area with sofa, Smart TV and wood burner. On this floor you’ll also find a study area with workstation if you need a little peace and quiet, as well as a handy utility space with appliances and downstairs WC. There is also a double bedroom with its own en-suite wet room (with extra-wide door) and the bedroom can be accessed via a ramped path from the garden door to the front of the house. On the first floor, you’ll find the four further bedrooms – one king-size with en-suite shower room, one double, one queen and one twin. There is also a family bathroom here with shower.
Outside, the door from the kitchen leads to the front garden which features a pretty rose arbour. French doors from the lounge lead into the enclosed rear garden with trees casting a pleasant shade or patio furniture to enjoy the sunshine. The lawn is a great size and there is also a BBQ for sunnier days. Beyond the rear garden is Southrepps Nature Reserve that has wildlife in abundance.
