This large holiday cottage enjoys sea views and a fantastic location, right next to Saundersfoot’s beautiful, sandy beach. Sleeping ten guests, this seaside retreat is the perfect base for large family gatherings and reunions with friends. As well as the wide, sandy beach on your doorstep, you’ll also have an excellent range of restaurants within walking distance, many of which serve delicious local seafood and Pembrokeshire produce. Just 400 metres away is the village’s picturesque harbour and from here you can take boat trips to go fishing or explore the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline. Walkers will be in their element, as the Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes directly through the village. An exhilarating 4.5-mile hike, taking you through ancient woodlands, past secluded coves, and across rugged clifftops, will bring you to the popular resort of Tenby, with its colourful houses, cobbled streets, and gorgeous sandy beaches. There are also some fantastic family attractions within 10 miles of the cottage, including Manor Wildlife Park, Folly Farm, and Oakwood Theme Park.
The contemporary coastal property has a beach theme running throughout, with cute nautical accessories and flashes of blues and aquamarines. The ground floor lounge/kitchen/diner is bright and airy and boasts far-reaching views out to sea. This is a magnificent spot to rustle up a tasty meal to share together around the large dining table. After dinner, sink into the sumptuous sofa to watch the TV over a bottle of wine. The first of the five bedrooms is located on this floor - a super-king-size that can be made up as a twin on request. Completing the ground floor is a handy shower room. Heading upstairs, discover a further lounge area, again with exquisite sea views, and housing a plump corner sofa to relax on to watch the TV or a DVD, or read a book. Another super-king-size bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request) can be found on the first floor, as well as a bunk bedroom. A chic family bathroom is also located on this floor. The remaining bedrooms – a king-size and a double – are located on the second floor, and both have en-suite facilities. The second floor has sloping ceilings and you may experience restricted head height in some areas.
From the first-floor lounge, sliding doors lead to a gorgeous balcony and outdoor sunroom overlooking the beach. This is a peaceful place to enjoy a morning coffee and plan your day, whilst listening to the relaxing sound of the waves rolling into shore. To the rear of the property, there is a pretty garden with raised flower beds and potted plants. This area comprises a patio with a bistro set, and from here steps lead to a lower garden and a further patio area with a large table and benches so you can spend memorable evenings outside, sharing great food as the sun sets over the village and creates the most magical lighting on the sea. A gate from the garden gives you direct access to the beach and there’s also a handy outdoor shower to use after a dip in the sea.
