We had a very enjoyable stay in the cottage. There was everything we needed for the week. The bed was very comfortable, bed linen and towels were provided by the owners. They also left tea and coffee and milk for our arrival and dog biscuits and poo bags for the dog. It was a lovely thoughtful touch. The view out the back was nice in an elevated pRead moreosition and a couple of evenings we had the setting sun. The cottage is in a perfect location for exploring Settle and the surrounding countryside of which we took full advantage, even in the rain!! Loads to do in the local area. There were lots of pubs and cafes to visit in Settle but we cooked in most evenings, with all the utensils you'd need. Parking could be a slight problem as the front door is right on the street but we managed to find options close enough. There is also a car park a few minutes walk away. All in all we would not hesitate in going back. A lovely place in a lovely location. Hide

Victoria Cottage was warm, comfortable and immaculately clean. We had a great week's walking, often from the cottage door, and we fell in love with the fine, historic town of Settle. Shops and cafes were just a short stroll down the hill. It was a perfect holiday, especially since the weather gods were kind. Well relaxed!
