This pretty house with bright interiors and fantastic attention to detail makes the perfect couples retreat by the sea. Being at the end of a terrace, the house benefits from dual aspect windows with fantastic harbour views from the bedroom. The area is a great destination for fishing, gorgeous beaches, a range of water sports and delicious fresh seafood to enjoy. The property is located a stones throw away from the harbour in West Looe, close to East Looe Beach, 0.5 miles away. Head out to the marine reserve of Looe Island about 1 mile offshore (and reachable on foot on spring low tides, otherwise by boat), or follow the South West Coast Path to Millendreath Beach (1.5 miles) or Polperro (5.5 miles). Book a tour or wine tasting at Looe Valley Vineyard (4.5 miles), or take a train ride on the Looe Valley Line which connects Looe to the historic market town of Liskeard.
There’s access to the garage with plenty of storage space for your beach gear, bikes, sports equipment, coats, and shoes on the ground floor. Steps lead up to the first floor with a large, sunny living/dining room and kitchen, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Upstairs is a large double bedroom, which is light and bright, with views of the harbour and quay. There’s also a shower room and further storage for luggage on the second floor.
The house has the quirky addition of an extra room on the ground floor. It used to be the shop and now serves as an indoor-outdoor terrace for enjoying morning coffees or dinner and drinks as the sun goes down.
