This stunning barn conversion is in the coastal hamlet of Tughall Steads, between the villages of Newton-by-the-Sea and Beadnell, located within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Both villages, 2.5 miles and 3.5 miles away respectively, feature pristine sandy beaches and plenty of opportunity for walking, wildlife spotting and exploring the many independent places to eat and drink. Outdoor lovers can take advantage of the many walking trails accessible from the barn. Alternatively, watersports, including surfing, diving and sailing, are available from Beadnell Bay or you can take a boat from the harbour over to the Farne Islands for unrivalled bird and wildlife spotting.

Designed to complement original features with stylishly modern interiors, this beautiful barn offers spacious accommodation for up to six guests. The ground floor is home to a light-filled living room centred around a contemporary wood burner. This space features high ceilings, whitewashed beams and luxury furniture designed for serious relaxation. The open-plan kitchen/dining is sleek and well equipped, and give ample room for all guests to eat together. An inviting double bedroom and large family bathroom with a freestanding bath and walk-in shower can also be found on this floor.

Upstairs on the first floor, there is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a quirky mezzanine twin room with low ceilings, a glass front and theatre-style curtains. Outdoors, guests have access to an enclosed decked courtyard garden with luxury garden furniture and considered planting, making it the ideal place for catching the last rays or for enjoying that all-important first cup of coffee of the day.

Samphire Barn is beautifully furnished to a super high standard. It was extremely comfortable for 6 of us - 4 adults and 2 kids - plus a dog. The arrival gift pack, including one for the dog, was a lovely touch. The location is great - easy to get to the fantastic beaches at Beadnell, Newton and Embleton as well as further afield but we were just tRead morehere for the four nights this time. A great well equipped cottage in a location close to the beaches and places to visit. A car is essential to get about. Lovely couple of pubs in nearby Newton on Sea and Beadnell beach is a must.

We had a wonderful stay in Samphire Barn, what a beautiful cottage. It was equipped to a very high standard and it was immaculately cleaned. We truly enjoyed our stay and had a walk in the fantastic beaches near to the location every day. We are hoping to revisit in the future as we love the area.

Everything about our holiday at Samphire Barn was perfect! Short of absolutely nothing and the location was perfect to explore the area for the first time! A real home from home! We will be back!!!!
