Located in an idyllic position in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Northumberland Heritage Coastline, you will want for nothing when staying in this stunning converted coach house. Close to the picturesque seaside village of Bamburgh, the property is perfectly placed for exploring the beaches on the Northumberland coast and the glorious countryside of the Northumberland National Park. Take the short drive, or a gentle walk, down country lanes to Bamburgh with its excellent range of quality eateries, friendly Inns and shops. Step through centuries of history at Bamburgh Castle as you walk through its treasure-filled staterooms, enjoy a round of golf at the local championship golf course or a day on the beautiful dune-backed beach. Take a boat from nearby Seahouses and set sail to the Farne Islands to see a range of wildlife or visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Back on land visit the market town of Alnwick for the castle (of Hogwarts fame) and its world-famous gardens. Heading in land family explorers, walkers and cyclists will be delighted with the many trails through the Cheviots and stunning Northumberland National Park. Younger guests (or those young at heart) will adore the indoor heated games room, with table tennis, table football and kid's corner.

This beautifully presented former coach house benefits from space, light, and thoughtful touches to encourage relaxation and happy memories. Step into the generous hallway with space for your walking boots and outdoor clothing. The bright and airy open-plan kitchen/diner is the ideal place to cook up a storm and to enjoy romantic or family gatherings with patio doors leading directly out to the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything the family might need for a range of meals and snacks. After dinner, step through into the lounge where a gas fire injects a cosy ambience. Relax on the comfortable seating for an evening of reading, chatting or watching the Smart TV, or retreat to the games rooms with table tennis and table football for an evening of entertainment and fun fuelled competition! A utility room and ground-floor cloakroom comprising WC and washbasin complete the downstairs. Upstairs are two delightful bedrooms, both providing views of the sea and The Farne Islands. The first is a master bedroom with a TV and the second is a twin bedroom with an optional single bed for guests if required (please enquire at the time of booking). The bright, contemporary family bathroom completes the accommodation.

A real gem throughout the summer months, this property offers private access to a large, enclosed garden, set to lawn, with a furnished patio area and charcoal BBQ. Take your morning coffee out to sit on the garden furniture first thing or enjoy dinner outside under the starry skies. Younger visitors will be pleased to find outdoor toys to play with and the addition of a large games barn with table tennis, table football and more. This room is fully heated and can be watched over from the sofas in the lounge. There is also a lockable storage room for storing golf clubs, bikes and surfboards.

The Coach House was well equipped and the separate games room was full of things to keep children of all ages occupied on the inevitable odd rainy day. I would book this property again for a holiday in Northumberland.
