Haddon Hall, located 6 miles away, is a must-see, showcasing medieval and Tudor architecture with stunning gardens. These attractions provide a blend of history, nature, and family entertainment, making Darley Dale and its surroundings a delightful destination.

This is a place where memories are made, and the experience of a beautiful home, set in stunning grounds, can be enjoyed by the entire family. The property itself is wrapped in the most beautiful grounds, which are accessed via metal gates and a winding driveway that brings you to the hall itself. Enter via the door opposite the chapel, and discover large hallways and beautiful spaces to explore. There are not one but two kitchens for you to use, the butler kitchen, where additional storage for food can be found, and the breakfast kitchen both have soft seating and also a dining table. There is a formal dining room that can sit the entire party, and would be the perfect space for those celebrations and special times to come together and connect. Two living rooms, both very different in colour and style, offering comfortable spaces to relax in and offering Smart TVs – both perfect spaces to read, watch TV, or simply talk about your daily adventures. There is a large conservatory that makes the best of the excellent grounds, with views of Darley Dale and beyond being the most visible from this space. You can come together to eat here and relax, access the rose garden beyond, and take time to immerse yourself in the stunning surroundings. There is a billiards room with a full-size billiards table, with soft seating around, great for people to test their skills against one another. Upstairs (there is a lift to the upper floors), there is a mix of nine beautiful bedrooms: six doubles, two king size and one twin, all with unique designs and comfortable spaces. Three have their own living rooms, all have en-suites and there is the matron's bedroom that has a cot and also a toddler bed that is adjoining to one of the main rooms. The spa has everything that you could imagine, from the 20-metre heated swimming pool, well-equipped gym, bubbling Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and poolside loungers. You will be spoilt for ways to relax.

Outside, you have not only the rose garden that leads off from the conservatory, but there’s also open parkland with mature trees and stunning views, where deer roam and artwork hides among trees or sits along the hillside.
