Located a few streets away from Cromer’s busy seafront, this cottage is an ideal base for exploring Norfolk’s varied landscapes. Cromer has lots of seaside activities on offer, such as crazy golf, surfing and crabbing (be sure to sample a crab sandwich whilst you’re there!), as well as its long sandy beach and historic pier. Further afield, you can head to the family-friendly beach at Sheringham (4.5 miles) or enjoy an ice cream on the promenade. Wildlife enthusiasts will be keen to visit Blakeney National Nature Reserve (15 miles) with its seals and rare seabirds, or the Norfolk Broads National Park (29 miles). Alternatively, you may prefer a wander around the narrow streets of the market town, Holt (10 miles).
With light wooden tones and a neutral palette throughout, this property is light and airy, whilst occasional pops of pattern and colour add a sense of warmth. The lounge has two comfortable sofas to sink into in the evening, with a wood burner-effect electric fire to keep you warm during the colder months. There’s also a TV, so you don’t miss out on your favourite shows. At the back of the room, a dining table and chairs offer ample space for everyone to sit down and enjoy a meal together or plan the next day’s big adventure. Moving into the country cottage-style kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to cook up some treats for everyone, including an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher. To allow you to enjoy the summer sun, a conservatory offers yet another space for you to relax– the perfect spot for a morning coffee and a moment of contemplation. Heading upstairs, there are three bright and beautifully presented bedrooms (two doubles and a small double). A family bathroom completes the accommodation with a shower over the bath, and a WC.
Outside, the enclosed garden is paved and decked, so no muddy footprints or paw-prints! It’s a lovely space with furniture, making it perfect for dining alfresco in the summer. An outbuilding in the front garden houses a washing machine. There is on-road parking available or pay-and-display car parks nearby.
