Aldborough is a pretty village in North Norfolk, close to the coast and with plenty of surrounding lanes which are great for walking and cycling. You can join the Weaver’s Way, which runs through the village, or venture over to Cromer (8 miles) for some seaside fun. While in the popular resort, sunbathe on one of its two gorgeous beaches, take a stroll along the famous pier or visit Amazona Zoo. There’s a surf school if you fancy getting in the water too. National Trust properties Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are within 6 miles of Aldborough. You could also spend a day exploring Holt, the Georgian town 10 miles away, with independent shops, art galleries and antique shops.

Boasting a Smart TV, wood burner, dining table and chairs, and dog bed in the alcove, this is the perfect spot to put your feet up and watch your favourite programme, or tuck into a tasty meal. Books and games are provided for when the weather isn’t great, or you want some quieter entertainment after a day of exploring the area.
