With a well-thought-out layout, this large upside-down house makes the perfect base for a large family or group to enjoy Loftus and the surrounding area. Loftus is a small village with which lies between the North York Moors National Park (1.5 miles away) and the bustling seaside town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea (5 miles) – with a Victorian pier, cliff lift and gardens. Enjoy a trip to the quaint seaside town of Staithes, 4.5 miles from Loftus, to visit its tea rooms, pubs serving excellent sea food, and a mixture of independent shops to suit all tastes. Or stay local and enjoy the pubs, shops, coffee shops and cafes in Loftus. There are also plenty of walks on the doorstep. Take a stroll through the fields to Hummersea Nature Reserve and Skinningrove Beach and join up with the waymarked Cleveland Way. For a fun day out, take a ride on Saltburn miniature railway (5 miles away) or visit the popular seaside town of Whitby (18 miles) and beautiful Robin Hood’s Bay (22 miles).
On the ground floor, the entrance hall leads to two bedrooms, one lovely king-size and the other, a cosy twin, that can be made up as a king-size on request. Both rooms have ample storage and there’s also a family bathroom on this level. Slightly steep stairs lead up to the first floor. All the living space is up here, along with the master bedroom ¬with its king-size four-poster bed, ample storage, and an en-suite with walk-in shower. The thoughtful touches extend to the living room, where you can relax on the 6-seater sofa while enjoying views of the woodland or get together for a meal in the dining area. The kitchen has a large breakfast bar with four stools, ideal for grabbing a quick bite to eat or a coffee to start the day.
There’s a small entrance courtyard at the front of the property.
