From here, you are just 8 miles from the market town of Bideford where you can pick up supplies, hire bikes or spend a few hours in the lovely Victoria Park. The quaint fishing village of Appledore is also just over 9 miles away, offering a wealth of places to eat and drink as well as some independent shops and galleries to browse – you can even enjoy a spot of crabbing. From here, you can get the seasonal ferry across to Instow where you can get on the Tarka Trail and find miles of flat trails to explore on two feet or by bike.
You enter the property via an entrance hall with handy storage for coats and shoes. You then have the open-plan living room/kitchen/diner with two comfortable leather sofas, a flame-effect fire and Smart TV with DVD. For evening meals, there’s a round dining table and chairs that seats four and it overlooks the garden from the window. The kitchen has modern, painted units and grey worktops. It also offers a Tassimo coffee machine for you to use. Upstairs there are two really lovely bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, as well as a separate shower room. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, built-in wardrobe and dressing table. The en-suite has a bath with a showerhead attachment, a separate shower cubicle, WC and his-and-her sinks. The second bedroom also boasts a king-size bed, plus bedside tables and a wardrobe. The shower room offers a walk-in shower, WC and heated towel rail.
The garden is fully enclosed with a lawn and patio area. You also have a table and chairs for al fresco dining plus a BBQ. There’s also a handy shower hose to wash off sandy feet or muddy boots. To the front of the property is a car port with space to park two cars.
