Explore the wonderful shops and boutiques, cafes, ice cream parlour, pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets there, and pop to the market at Y Maes (the square) held every Wednesday and Saturday during the summer. There’s fun to be had at the amusements arcade, on the golf course at Pwllheli, or wandering along the Wales Coast Path, and it’s easy to visit the other popular tourist spots of Llanbedrog (4.5 miles) and Abersoch (7 miles) in one direction, and Criccieth (8 miles) and Porthmadog 12.5 miles) in the other. The cosy cottage opens up to an open plan kitchen/diner/living room. The kitchen/diner has a real country cottage feel, with the dining table that seats everyone placed next to the stunning original stone wall. The living area features an original inglenook stone fireplace with a wood burner effect electric fire and comfy leather sofas to sink into and relax. The family-sized bathroom, with a bath and shower, is also on the ground floor. Upstairs are two stylish bedrooms, an attractive king-size and a quirky double.
Outside there are two garden areas to choose from at the rear of the cottage – an enclosed patio and an enclosed upper deck area. There’s a more formal dining table and chairs on the patio.
