An appealing two-storey property situated around a stone courtyard, and ideally located for exploring the bustling centre of Seahouses. This seaside bolthole is a great hideaway for families or couples. Scope out the best coffee nooks and gift shops dotted along the high street, 200 metres, or stroll to the nearby harbour for an unforgettable boat ride of seal and puffin spotting on the Farne Islands, 300 metres. Take advantage of the dramatic coastline and bike or amble to Bamburgh, 3.4 miles, then refuel with a freshly caught seafood lunch overlooking the beach. Some beautiful views of the Northern Lights can even be spotted at certain times of the year. 

This converted smokery cottage is brimming with character and features original property details. Step inside the contemporary kitchen/diner with sleek gloss cabinetry and a cosy dining area. Unwind in the airy lounge where you can grab some nibbles, sink into the plush sofas, and relax in front of the fire after brisk days at the seaside. Great place, having a designated parking space is very important as is at a premium around the village. Out of the door and just 40 yard to the sea

Comfortable cottage in great location in Seahouses, close to all shops and amenities, with excellent walking routes and beaches close by, and an easy drive to Banbury and Beadnell. Available private parking space was a bonus and avoided any parking issues in Seahouses.

This property far exceeded our expectations. Really clean on arrival and a book with useful information on the surrounding area and also for the property was a nice touch...along with some biscuits and tea/coffee/milk. As we had been delayed in traffic this was particularly welcome. Property is superbly located for all Seahouses has to offer...evenRead more if I did hyperventilate every time I had to manoeuvre the car through the narrow streets! We had a brilliant holiday and looking to book again in Spring next year. Hide

Seahouses is a great location to go north or south on the coastline and cottage had everything we needed.

Lovely location and very clean. However, we could not open the front door with the key provided and this was not resolved during our stay. Towels were small and poor quality and we had to buy some mugs as the ones provided were very small! Minor niggles though

Although cottage location is very good for sea and shops etc it is on a rough narrow street with many cars parked so is not always easy to navigate. The equipment generally very good apart from not having a good large frypan. There are two but not very nice. A tablespoon would be handy too. The comfort and quality is to a fairly high standard but tRead morehe windows at the front of the property do not open, so no fresh air to the bedrooms. If the weather had been hot it would have been very uncomfortable. Mattresses not that comfortable but good once I had laid the quilts under the bottom sheets. I always take my own blankets as we are too hot under duvets. Very nice cottage overall though. I only gave a 3 for returning as we think that we will not be going self catering any more. Hide
