Perched on the brink of the North Broads, the village of Dilham (1 mile) is surrounded by beautiful countryside in a quiet and tranquil setting and is the perfect starting point for an endless array of Norfolk activities. 5 miles from the nearest beach the area offers a selection of beautiful coastal villages and beaches. Rent a boat or set off on foot to discover some of the incredible 125 miles of waterways this fascinating pocket of the world presents. A day trip to pretty Wroxham (7 miles) or the market town of Aylsham (10 miles) provides an enjoyable afternoon – you may even wish to take the Bure Valley Railway between the two spots. If visiting local towns and cities is your thing, then be sure to spend some time in Norwich (14.5 miles), or if you prefer a more remote excursion, head to Horsey Gap (12.5 miles) for a wander along the seafront and the chance to spot some seals. Nearby are fantastic eateries including the famous Gunton Arms and Suffield Arms which are destination gastro pubs (both are dog friendly).

Two back kitchens present additional space with a microwave, fridge and additional fridge/freezer. Similarly handy is the utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, along with the ground-floor cloakroom with WC. Each of the four bedrooms on the first floor is equally as inviting, but we must admit that the master suite is the most impressive space for your party's guests of honour. Here you'll find a decadent French upholstered king-size bed, an adjacent dressing room with a feature fireplace, and a bathroom with WC, heated towel rail and a free-standing roll-top bath. A second low-rise king-size bedroom can also be found right here, this one featuring a free-standing bath and hand-held shower attachment within the room on a raised platform. A third bedroom is made up as a stylishly appointed twin beds with a feature fireplace, and the fourth and final bedroom is a spacious King size bed and single day bed. Finally, a garden-view family bathroom is fully fitted with WC, heated towel rail, bath and separate shower with step.
