Spend a romantic break at this characterful cottage in the heart of Padstow, a working fishing port with plenty to see and do. There are two pubs within 20 metres and plenty of options for eating in the immediate area. You may opt to wander around Padstow harbour (150 metres) before heading to Lower Beach (0.5 miles) or St George’s Cove (1 mile). Cyclists and walkers can join the Camel Trail, an 18-mile surfaced path passing through some of Cornwall’s prettiest scenery, 20 metres from the front door.
The ground floor consists of a modern kitchen with wood-look units and striking black tiles, plus a spacious living/dining room featuring leather sofas and a TV, a glass-top dining table and chairs plus a cosy electric wood burner housed within a stone fireplace. French doors lead to the outside space and there’s a shower room on this floor, too. You can reach the first floor via a staircase leading up from the living area. Here you’ll find a light-filled king-size bedroom, with an en-suite shower room containing a steam room. There’s also a cupboard housing a tabletop freezer. Both bathrooms in the accommodation have heated towel rails for an indulgent touch.
The garden is accessed via some steps; it has a gravelled floor with paving and furniture so you can savour meals together outdoors.
