Having been lovingly converted from an old stable block, this stylish studio makes a peaceful retreat for couples to get away from it all. With country views all around, it’s nestled right among nature and yet only 5 minutes drive from the market town of Settle. The property is close to the village of Giggleswick, on the banks of the Ribble River, next to the market town of Settle, with a range of shops, pubs and restaurants to visit. It’s an area popular with walkers, cyclists and climbers. Walk up Ingleborough, the second highest of Yorkshire’s three peaks, and take in the amazing views from the top. Visit the impressive Stainforth Force, 2.5 miles down the road, where you can see salmon leaping in autumn. There are lots of activities to get involved in, including climbing, scrambling or canyoning with Yorkshire Dales Guides, also in Stainforth (3.5 miles away). Or, enjoy a romantic riverside walk right on the doorstep with views of Penyghent and Ingleborough.
The large, modern kitchen with open views across the fields to Ingleborough is separate from the open-plan living/dining/bedroom space. The main living area is a lovely, light space with wood floors, a king-size bed tucked away at the end of the large room, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the panoramic views. There’s also a separate modern shower room. The studio is all on one level with no stairs.
Outside, there’s a private paved seating area with a table and chairs, perfect for relaxing any time of day and taking in the views of open countryside as far as the eye can see.
